DiY Clothespin Bag
I like to pick up items like random cloth placemats and napkins. There are several things you can do with them, not to mention they can make nice photo props for bloggers. Last week I was over at Gretchen Louise during her Laundry Week and sharing a DIY clothespin bag project – go here to learn how.

Clothespin bags are quite easy, even for those of us who have very little sewing experience. What I love about projects like these are that they use things I already have on hand and they cost so little (the placemat used in this project cost me $0.74 when I bought it). Plus, it can be something very useful. In this case, I really needed a bag for my clothes pins.
What are some of your favorite projects that use items you’ve picked up for a fraction of the normal cost?
