Did you brave the crowds yesterday and tackle some Christmas shopping? I thought it would be fun for the kids and I to get out late morning and was hoping that most stores would have quieted down so we could tackle some shopping for my husband but no, traffic was still crazy. The one thing I was going to try to buy for him was sold out (which I expected since we went out so late) so I’ll shop online for that this weekend, but we had fun just being out and enjoying the sun and fresh air.
I thought I’d share some online weekend deals I’m planning on taking advantage of. My Christmas list isn’t very long, just a couple items per person and the supplies I need to start on the gifts I’m making.
Black Friday Weekend Deals
Amazon has a 30% off ANY book
using code HOLIDAY30 when you checkout. Use it to grab a book for yourself or someone else. I’ve had several books on my list, but I finally settled on The Inspired Room: Simple Ideas to Love the Home You Have
as it was the most expensive.
Kindles on Amazon are on sale until 11/30. If you have a reader on your Christmas list, this makes for a great gift.
Swagbucks has eBay and Bass Pro Shop gift cards for 20% off. You could either use them as gifts or use them to purchase gifts.
Ebates is offering double cash back on Saturday for Shop Small Saturday. The stores include sites like Groupon, eBay and also Etsy.
JoAnn still has some great door busters for today with 75% Blizzard & Anti-Pill Fleece not to mention 60% off other fabrics and flannel for $2.29 a yard. Shop through Ebates (2%) or Swagbucks (6 swagbucks per dollar) for cash back or points. Time to grab the needed materials if you’re making homemade gifts for Christmas.
If you’re shopping online over the next few days, make sure you check Ebates, Swagbucks or your reward program of choice. It’s a great time to earn cash back on your online purchases. And today, don’t forget to check your local stores for Shop Small Business Saturday.
