Do your drawers look anything like the above? Yes, that is my “baking” drawer. As you can see, I have all my baking utensils in there and there is no organization at all. It has been a source of frustration. I’ll be making something and trying to find the 1/4 tsp… where is it? It’s in there…. somewhere. I thought about adding some dividers and talked to my husband about it but we decided to look for something that wouldn’t be permanent. That sent me into a Google search and I discovered some great looking products on a site called Core Bamboo.
Core Bamboo offers a wide range of organizers (along with a lot of other great products) to help in your kitchen… and I needed some help. lol They had exactly what I was looking for, an adjustable drawer organizer – which is made from 100% organically grown bamboo. It comes with 5 already intact sections but they also include several dividers to customize the compartments to your needed size. Perfect for things like your measuring spoons, etc.
I also received the large expandable flatware tray for our silverware. We had a tray already but it didn’t have enough compartments so our utensils were doubled up making it difficult to find some things, plus because of that, the sections were over-flowing. This tray is expandable which works great for those larger serving utensils.
Both products are nice, sturdy and the expandable part of the flatware tray slides really smoothly. I love all the sections in both trays. It’s nice to go to the drawer and find exactly what I’m looking for (unless it’s dirty of course) without digging through the mess every day. It’s also easy to keep the drawers organized.
Ahhh… organized. 🙂 And yes, when these came in the mail, I was giddy with excitement. I even called my husband. My kitchen drawers have bothered me that much! I’m so tickled to have some organization to them now.
