Monday Menu Plan ~ A Flop!

I’m sure I’m not alone in the fact that we often have good intentions and plans for the day, week or month but something happens and those good intentions are just that and don’t go beyond being good intentions. lol That was me last week and this week. I was supposed to sit down and meal plan for the next 4 weeks… last week. That was my intention but I knew I wouldn’t be able to do my shopping on Sat. anyway so I didn’t plan.

Now here we are on Wednesday and I *just* made a meal plan for this week. It hasn’t been a complete loss as I’ve had enough leftovers from the last 4 weeks that I can just remake some of last month’s dishes, but still. I have been walking into the kitchen at 4PM every day this week and thinking “What should I make tonight”. I finally pulled out all the meals that I can make without going to the store for anything so here we are:

Monday:

  • Breakfast ~ Oatmeal with Raisins & Apples ~ 6pts
  • Snack ~ Fage 0% Greek Yogurt & Honey ~ 5pts
  • Lunch ~ Bean burritos ~ 6pts
  • Snack ~ Veggies & Popcorn ~ 7pts
  • Dinner ~ Quesadillas – unknown pts

Total Points: 24pts

Tuesday:

  • Breakfast ~ Cranberry Streusel Muffins & Hard Boiled Egg ~ 8pts
  • Snack ~ Fruit ~ 0pts
  • Lunch ~ Chicken Salad Sandwich ~ 7pts
  • Snack ~ Almond Toasted Oat Trail Mix ~ 5pts
  • Dinner ~ Baked Beef Ziti & Salad ~ 7pts

Total Points: 27pts

Wednesday:

  • Breakfast ~ Frittata ~ 4pts
  • Snack ~ Fage 0% Green Yogurt & Honey ~ 5pts
  • Lunch ~ Bean burritos ~ 6pts
  • Snack ~ Veggies & Popcorn ~ 7pts
  • Dinner ~ Beef Tacos ~ pts unknown

Total Points: 22pts

Thursday:

  • Breakfast ~ Oatmeal & Fruit ~ 6pts
  • Snack ~ Fruit ~ 0pts
  • Lunch ~ Chicken Salad Sandwich ~ 7pts
  • Snack ~ Almond Toasted Oat Trail Mix ~ 5pts
  • Dinner ~ Summer Pasta Salad ~ pts unknown

Total Points: 18pts

Friday:

  • Breakfast ~ Frittata ~ 4pts
  • Snack ~ Fage 0% Greek Yogurt & Honey ~ 5pts
  • Lunch ~ Mozzarella, Red Pepper & Pesto Sandwich ~ 8pts
  • Snack ~ Veggies & Popcorn ~ 7pts
  • Dinner ~ Pizza & Salad ~ 10pts

Total Points: 34pts

Saturday:

  • Breakfast ~ Egg, Bacon & Tater Tots ~ 9pts
  • Snack ~ Fruit ~ 0pts
  • Lunch ~ Chicken Salad Sandwich ~ 7pts
  • Snack ~ Almond Toasted Oat Trail Mix ~ 5pts
  • Dinner ~ Asian Beef Salad ~ 7pts

Total Points: 28pts
